      Namaste and Welcome to India! Upon arrival at Mumbai international airport, you will be met by a Atulyam Tours representative and transferred to your first regal retreat The Taj Mahal Palaceand assist with check in.

      Mumbai (previously known as Bombay) is the biggest metropolis of India. A city that is full of life and is also known for its well-known tourist places, commercial hubs and government bodies. It is also known as the financial capital of India.

      After breakfast, go on a tour of the city to explore its architectural heritage, starting with a visit to the Jain Temple at Malabar Hill. Continue to Mani Bhawan, the home of Mahatma Gandhi during his stay in Mumbai, now a small museum exhibiting his life works. You will drive up to Dhobhighat, the Mega Laundry site, where the entire city’s laundry comes for a wash. Arrive in time at Churchgate to see the Dabbawalas sorting lunch boxes for distribution. The tour will culminate at Prince of Whales museum, one of the finest in Asia. After lunch, the remainder of the day will be at your leisure.

      Later fly to Jodhpur - Mighty Mehrangarh, the muscular fort that towers over the Blue City of Jodhpur, is a magnificent spectacle and an architectural masterpiece. Around Mehrangarh’ s feet, the old city, a jumble of Brahmin-blue cubes, stretches out to the 10km-long, 16th-century city wall. The ‘Blue City’ really is blue!

      Check in at your luxury retreat the Umaid Bhawan Palace - Designed by renowned Edwardian architect Henry Lanchester, the palace is a blend of eastern and western architectural influences. Its majestic 105 - foot high cupola is influenced by the Renaissance, while the towers draw inspiration from Rajput tradition.

      Morning proceed for city sightseeing of Jodhpur visiting;

      This morning, enjoy an orientation tour of Jodhpur city.

      Visit the magnificent Mehrangarh fort which dominates the town ringed with its massive protective walls. There are seven gates that lead into the fort. Inside the fort is a series of courtyards and palaces. The palace apartments with marvelously carved panels, latticed windows have evocative names such as Sukh Mahal (Pleasure Palace), Moti Mahal (Pearl Palace), the Phool Mahal (Flower Palace) and the Sheesh Mahal (Palace of Mirrors).

      Continue your tour to Jaswant Thada, located a short distance from the fort, just off the fort road, is a white marble memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. The cenotaph built in 1899, was followed by the royal crematorium and three other cenotaphs that stand nearby.

      Later drive to Udaipur enroute visiting world famous Ranakpur Temples, an architectural marvel built in white marble

      Later continue drive to Udaipur - Beside shimmering Lake Pichola, with the ochre and purple ridges of the wooded Aravalli Hills stretching away in every direction, Udaipur has a romance of setting unmatched in Rajasthan and arguably in all India.

      Upon arrival check in at the lake retreat built up on Raj Niwas Island – The Lake Palace, Udaipur; stay at James bond Octopussy's island hideaway, Taj Lake Palace. The hotel is lavishly decorated with ornate, carved windows and domed turrets.

      This morning proceed for city sightseeing visiting;
      The vast and exquisite City Palace, a well-fortified, majestic white monument. Afternoon visit the Jagdish Temple, a 16th-century temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, it is the largest and most splendid temple in Udaipur. Drive past Fateh Sagar Lake and visit Sahelion-ki-Bari, the Garden of the Maids-of-Honor, which has numerous fountains in four pools, embellished with delicately chiseled kiosks and elephants.

      In the Evening, take a boat (shared) cruise on Lake Pichola to visit Jag Mandir Palace, which covers almost four acres and is noted for its marble pavilion and an imposing dome. You’ll see people doing their laundry on the shores of the lake against the backdrop of the massive City Palace and the old city.

      Later fly to Delhi, met & assisted at airport and transfer to your hotel the Imperial, New Delhi

      The day commences with a drive through Lutyen’s Delhi. Stop for interesting photo opportunities at India Gate and the muted red sandstone Parliament Buildings. Continue to Gandhi Smriti, an interesting photo exhibit on the life of the Great Mahatma Gandhi. Next visit the restored Humayun’s Tomb - (UNESCO World heritage site).

      Later drive to Agra via the Yamuna Expressway. On arrival in Agra you check-into to your accommodations.

    • Agra – Jaipur by surface (approx. 235 Kms / 5 Hrs)

      Morning proceed to Taj on decorated horse driven carriages, Taj Mahal is one of mankind's greatest architectural feats. Built out of white marble by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal, it was erected by 20,000 laborers over a 12-year period. The entire monument is a masterpiece of symmetry (Closed on Friday).

      Later commence your drive to Jaipur - Founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh - II, the ruler of Amber, Jaipur was the first planned city in India. This town is also referred as Pink city for the color of buildings in its wonderful old city. The city was painted pink to honor the visit of Prince Albert of England in 1882.

      Arrive Jaipur, check in at your hotel The Rambagh Palace - Walk from room to room amongst rich textures, opulent furnishings and exquisite objects d’art. Step out into expansive, ornamental gardens arranged in brilliant symmetry. Retire to rooms that were once the sanctuaries of kings, princes and their guests. Rambagh Palace exudes an unmistakable sense of history. It’s an architectural masterpiece that transcends time.

      Early breakfast at hotel
      Morning drive to Amber and its glorious hilltop fortress. You will ascend the fort on Elephant back. It is known for its unique artistic style, blending both Hindu and Muslim (Mughal) elements, and its ornate and breathtaking architectural mastery. Tour the chambers and hallways of the palace, famous for the excellence of its design and decoration. Within the complex is Ganesh Pol, an imposing gateway painted with the images of the elephant-headed god, Ganesh. Pierced screen windows offer views from different vantage points, and shimmering mirrors encrust the walls of Sheesh Mahal.

      Afterward proceed to Dera Amer camp - situated behind the hills of the famous Amer Fort is the ideal location for outdoor recreational and adventure activities in very close proximity to the city of Jaipur. Enjoy a barbeque lunch alfresco!

      Later proceed to Pink city of Jaipur. Stop for a photo at the Hawa Mahal or the Palace of the Winds." This beautiful façade is probably the most-photographed in Jaipur, with its ornately carved windows designed so the ladies of the palace could look out onto the streets unobserved. Visit the City Palace Museum, which has a priceless collection of antiques, costumes and armory of the Mughals and Rajputs including swords of different shapes and sizes with chiseled handles. It also has an art gallery which displays a collection of miniature paintings, carpets, royal paraphernalia and rare astronomical works in Arabic, Persian, Latin and Sanskrit.

      There after visit Jantar Mantar Observatory, a stone astrological and astronomical Observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh in the 18th century.

      Upon arrival check in at one of the most regal retreats of India – Taj Falaknuma Palace

This tour explores the many regional and subtle foreign influences that make this dish so special. We will weave our way through Hyderabad's many biryani hubs and see the huge handis of fragrant rice and secret combinations of meat and spices that beguile the senses.
